AssetLens is a portfolio viewer that reads brokerage statements you choose to import. It is built to work entirely on your device.

Data we collect

None. AssetLens does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or financial data. The app has no server of its own and makes no network requests for your data.

No login or account

AssetLens has no sign-up or login, and it never asks for your brokerage username or password. It does not connect to your brokerage accounts.

Your statements and holdings

Statements you import (PDF, photo, or CSV) are read on your device using Apple's on-device PDFKit and Vision text recognition. On supported devices, Apple's on-device Foundation Models may help read unusual layouts. The holdings that result are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. Files you share to AssetLens through the share extension are passed to the app through a private App Group container on the same device.

The app does not use iCloud sync. If your device backups are enabled (iCloud or computer backup), the app's local data may be included in those backups, which Apple or your computer manages. Deleting the app removes its data from the device.

Purchases

AssetLens Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive your payment details. The app stores a small local counter (in standard app preferences) to apply free-tier import limits.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

AssetLens contains no analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Children

AssetLens is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
